Premier Alliances, Inc. is happy to announce the hiring of Dawn Hobson as its new Education Program Manager.

Dawn comes to Premier Alliances with more than two decades of experience in the education of adults and children, including ESL instruction, Career Technical Education and Adult Education. She has a Master’s Degree of Bilingual and Multicultural Education from NAU and has taught in both Arizona and Mexico.

As Education Program Manager, Dawn’s duties include developing, coordinating and facilitating educational programs for Premier Alliances employees and the public, most of which will take place at the newly completed Education/Conference Center on the Bisbee Campus. She will also take over most responsibilities concerning the ECC, including scheduling the use of the facility by community organizations and entities that rent out the facility.

Dawn will also meet regularly with employees on Fort Huachuca to identify areas of interest that can be developed into full lesson plans. Her experience in grant writing will also support the organization’s effort to secure outside funding for current and future endeavors.

Prior to being hired full time, Dawn was contracted to design, organize and facilitate Premier Alliances’ first English as a Second Language course for Spanish-speaking employees. That 8-week course wraps up on Saturday, July 26.
