Premier Alliances, Inc., one of the longest-serving nonprofit organizations in Cochise County, is proud to announce that John Charley has been named CEO.

John comes to Premier after a career in both public and private service, including at the City of Bisbee, where he served a four-year term on the City Council, followed by one year as the assistant city manager, and finally a seven year stint as the city’s community development director, where he oversaw planning and zoning, building inspection, code enforcement, economic development, transit, tourism and the preservation of Bisbee’s historic district.

Most recently, John worked for four years as project manager for the Copper Queen Community Hospital, where he oversaw the expansion and redevelopment of the Emergency Department in Bisbee and the completion of a freestanding emergency department in Douglas.

“John Charley is a man of integrity and vision and I’m excited to have a CEO of his caliber to lead Premier Alliances, Inc. into the future,” said Jennifer Graeme, President of the Premier Alliances, Inc. Board of Directors.

Prior to taking on the role of CEO, John served as Premier Alliances’ Business Development Manager beginning in the summer of 2017.

Premier Alliances, Inc. has been serving and supporting the communities of Cochise County since 1962. Originally founded in Bisbee by concerned community members as a means to provide educational opportunities to children with developmental disabilities, the program grew, serving both adults and children with disabilities through educational and vocational programs, becoming the Cochise County Association for the Handicapped in 1975. In 1995 CCAH won the groundskeeping contract for Fort Huachuca and was later renamed. Today, Premier Alliances, Inc. continues to provide gainful employment and life skills development opportunities for a historically underserved population, both on Fort Huachuca, where we also maintain the historic Old Post Cemetery, and at the Brian A. Terry Border Patrol Station near Bisbee, where our employees provide custodial services.
