An employee of three years, in that time Ana has worked in grounds maintenance, our former silkscreen and embroidery shop, and equipment repairs.
“I like to learn new things. For me, it’s a good way to keep my mind busy,” she said.
During this time, Ana has also been working with our Education Program Manager, Dawn, to improve her English language skills, and her dedication has resulted in amazing progress.
For the last year, Ana has been in training as a mechanic, helping to maintain and repair the assorted equipment used by our grounds maintenance crews on Fort Huachuca. Now that training has paid off as she has been promoted to the Mechanic position.
